Air Pollution Control Systems
From initial consultation to design and specification, right through to turnkey contracts and final commissioning.
Extraction and Ventilation
An integral part of any APC system, Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) is normally required. This would include design and specification of ducting, fans, filters and related equipment.
Legislation / D1 / H1 Annex
A requirement under the auspices of HMG (both Local Authority and the Environment Agency), Technical Note D1, is a method for determining the correct height of a stack discharging from any given process.
The latest legislative procedures are also reviewed and adopted where required.
Structural Design
Having designed a suitable system, fabricators then need an idea of how strong a vessel or chimney needs to be to withstand operating conditions.
Using the appropriate design codes, the correct construction can be obtained and all parties can then move forward with confidence knowing this aspect has been taken care of.
